What are your candles made from?

Every Drift Into Dusk candle is hand-poured in the UK using a natural coconut wax blend, carefully chosen for its beautiful burn, excellent scent throw, and lower environmental impact compared to many traditional candle waxes.

Our candles are vegan, cruelty-free, and free from paraffin wax. We use carefully selected fragrance oils and essential oils (where stated) to create scents designed to bring a little calm, comfort, and escapism to your day.

Each candle is made in small batches and finished by hand, because we believe the little details matter.

Are your candles vegan?

Yes. All Drift Into Dusk candles are vegan and cruelty-free. We do not use animal-derived ingredients and never test on animals.

Are your candles handmade?

Yes. Every candle is hand-poured by me in small batches here in the UK.

Why does my candle look slightly different from the photos?

Because every candle is made by hand, slight variations in appearance may occur. This won't affect the quality or performance of your candle.

My candle has small marks or frosting on the wax. Is this normal?

Yes. Coconut wax is a natural wax and may occasionally develop slight surface variations due to temperature changes. This is completely normal and does not affect the candle's performance.

Are your candles giftable?

Absolutely. Every candle is carefully packaged and arrives ready to gift, whether that's for someone special or yourself.

What should I do if my order arrives damaged?

Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage and we'll arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.

How long do your candles burn?

Burn times vary by size. Please refer to the individual product pages for specific burn time details.

Do you offer free shipping?

Yes! We offer free shipping on UK orders over £35. Standard UK shipping is £4.99 for orders under £35.

How long will my order take to arrive?

UK orders are typically dispatched within 1–3 business days. You'll receive a tracking notification once your order is on its way.

Can I return or exchange my order?

We want you to love every Drift Into Dusk purchase. If you're not completely satisfied, please contact us within 14 days of receiving your order and we'll do our best to help.

Please note that we do not offer free returns at this time. Return postage costs are the responsibility of the customer, and we recommend using a tracked service as we are unable to accept responsibility for items lost in transit.

How should I care for my candle?

We use two different wick types in our candles, and each requires slightly different care:

Cotton wicks — Trim your wick to 5mm before each burn and allow the wax to melt to the edges on the first use. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn.

S-shaped wood wicks — These are self-trimming, so no regular trimming is needed. However, the flame size is determined by the length of the wick. If the flame looks too large, simply trim the wick slightly to reduce it. Never leave a burning candle unattended.
